The reason the tax rate is not on display at the tax rate column in Sales/Purchase Invoice is because it is not active.
You need to activate it by following these steps
- Go to Setting > Tax Rate
- Click on any Tax Rate with status 'non-active'.
- Once you see that tax rate page, scroll down and you tick the check box Active.
- Click Save to activate this tax rate.
